Below is a list of our core classes always offered at CYGA. Check our class schedule frequently for additional classes, workshops, and special events that may interest you.
Classes
Cycling + Yoga
CYGA CYCLING + YOGA
This is our signature CYGA Class. It is a combo of 30 minute cycle + 30 minute yoga, a focused 4CORE class. (Strength, Balance, Flexibility, and Endurance focus that rotates weekly) This class will give you what you need to be fit and healthy in a time frame that will fit into your life. This intense cardio interval workout followed directly with yoga is designed to enhance the strength, flexibility and balance of athletes. If you do not think you are an athlete now, after a few months of this, you will.
CoreCYGA cycling+yoga+core
CoreCYGA is a class that follows our CYGA format while incorporating weighted balls to strengthen the all important Core. This is a 60 minute class, 30 minutes cycling followed by 30 minutes of core work.
Cycling
Cycle Interval Class
60 minute interval cycle class. Instructor's choice of interval training sequence and music. You will get a great cardio workout. Bring towel, water and shoes, clip ins or hard soled.
Cycle Strength Class
60 minute strength training cycle class. Instructor's choice of strength training, sequence and music. You will be sure to get a strong ride in. Bring a towel, water and shoes, clip ins or hard soled.
Off Road Cycle
These are various hours that cyclist/yogis can come into CYGA and use the bikes. Pre-registration is required. This is a great opportunity for cyclist to work on their specific training needs. Also, to take advantage of any of our personal trainers and CycleOps Certified Cyclist to learn how to benefit from Training with Power on the CycleOps Bikes. Hours can change seasonly.
Jen Jen's Underground Cycle Class
Join Jen Emold for an amazing journey that will challenge your whole self from the inside out. This ride will consist of multi-terrain so get ready to sweat. Please bring heart rate monitor, towel and water. Jen will have extra water as well. There are 15 bikes and they will go quickly. Ride will be on Friday, October, 21st (Start time 5:45pm). $15 each class. (1.15 hours/$15).
Yoga
Mindful Yoga
This 60 minute yoga class is designed for any yogi interested in taking a hatha yoga style class. We take the poses slowly, learn alignment and breathing. Feel free to ask questions and discover how body awareness can improve your practice, posture and daily life.
Sunrise Intermediate Yoga
This is an early morning yoga class (5:30 am). A flow class that will work with building strength, flexibility and breath. Begin your day centered and strong.
Intermediate Yoga
Intermediate Yoga Class focuses on developing strength + stamina + flexibility while exploring intermediate and moving into advanced level yoga poses. Designed for students with at least 6 months of yoga experience.
Kids Yoga Camps
CAMP AGE GROUPS (4-6)(7-9) & (10-12)This class is taught by Karma Kids Yoga Certified Instructors. The kids will explore the world of yoga thru breathing, balancing and body movement (poses). The older kids will look at yoga with a bit more depth. We will see how yoga can be a useful tool in school and our every day life to help reduce stress and stay emotionally and physically healthy. We will have a healthy snack. (50 minutes yoga)
Teen Yoga Session
This class is for Teens with any level yoga experience. Pam will work on poses thru the CYGA Fourcore principles. Strength, Balance, Flexibility and Endurance. She will work with the breath and being present. Please sign up in advance. Taught by Pam Miller, Certified thru Karma Kids Yoga, Street yoga and Yoga Ed and 200 hr. Yoga thru Kanyakamari.
Yoga for Strength and Alignment
Gentle Yoga is slow flowing sequenced class designed to create flexibility + strength in a calming environment. Created for beginner to mature students to deepen their knowledge of yoga poses.
Multi-Level Yoga
With various levels in one class, you will be able to work on all of the fundamentals of yoga and beyond. There will be suggestions on how to modify and deepen you practice as you learn to listen to your body. Taking you to your next level when you are ready to move on.
Corepower® Yoga Sculpt
corepower® Yoga Sculpt is a total body workout designed to tone and sculpt every major muscle group. Free weights serve as your own personal adjuster as you move through sun salutations and other yoga postures, enabling extra length and depth in each pose. This intense, but easy to follow program complements your regular yoga practice while pushing your strength and flexibility to new heights. Why strength train? Strength training builds lean muscle mass. CYGA's Indoor Cycling is effective aerobic training & a great caloric burner, but strength training two days a week will have a greater long-term impact on your metabolism. corepower® Yoga Sculpt is the perfect addition to your cross training.
Boxing Bootcamp with Solful Fitness
This class will start your day off with a punch of energy! Boxing Boot Camp will focus on the technique of cardio kickboxing with the use of boxing gloves and pads. A perfect stress-relieving workout to get you through your busy day. Plyometric, strength and resistance training and lots of core work will be taught intermittently throughout the boxing workout. After this hour workout, you will be empowered to attack your day! Payment made at time of class directly to Solful Fitness. CYGA class package does not apply. Drop-In: $20 per class Packages: 5 session package for $75 ($15 per class) SPECIAL OFFER.....if a client brings in a new person to Boxing Boot Camp they get $5 off the drop-in cost or $5 towards their next package. This is $5 credit per new person they bring to class!
Community Drum Circle
Bring your hands, drum(if you have one), beating heart & desire to djembe, learn to drum, or just listen to the beat of the drum. No experience needed, drums & percussion available. All levels welcome. Donations appreciated.
